Summer Timetable Starts Today..

Please be aware there is NO swimming at BLC tonight

Today marks the start of the summer timetable.

Sessions swimmers are to attend during the month of August are on the Club Noticeboard and on the homepage of the Club Website

Day 4: 50m Breaststroke Final

Joshua Horobin returned tonight to Ponds Forge to swim in the 50m Breaststroke Final.

Qualifying in 7th finished in 10th, with 0.85 splitting 5th – 10th

Well done Joshua from all at BMSC.

Day 4: Its only 50m…Breaststroke.

Good Luck to Joshua Horobin today as he swims again in the 50m Breaststroke event at the ASA summer Nationals.

Ranked 3rd in this event its all to play for and as the coaches say ‘It’s only 50m’.

The Mighty Marlins wish him well..

Fearn Middleton Back at it.

Fearn returned tonight to Ponds Forge to compete in the 50m BC as previously blogged.

Swimming a strong 50m following a great start she did the Mighty Marlins Proud in this competitive final.

Finishing 9th in the 17/18 age group is a great achievement.

Congratulations to Fearn a Great job bearing in mind this is her 1st season with the club.

Day 3: ASA Summer Nationals Back for more.

Today saw Elliott Stubbs and Fearn Middleton flying the Belper Marlin flag at the ASA Summer Nationals in Sheffield, both in the 50m Backstroke. Elliott swam just outside of his PB but still an excellent swim from Elliott, a big BMSC Well Done to him! Fearn achieved a new PB time of 31.16 and finished 7th in her age group meaning she will progress through to the final this evening in 7th. Good Luck this evening Fearn! And excellent swims this morning from the both of them.
